Awareness campaign for PSEA and GBV to protect refugee from all kinds of exploitation. Monday 6 January in Farchana refugee camp. Organized by SVO & Comedian Group of (Ajaweed), Funding by UNHCR.

Considering the high risks of sexual exploitation and abuse SEA in Eastern Chad particularly in the Sudanese refugee camps, due to the regular complaints and allegations of the refugees from many types of exploitation such as sometimes they pay to get food from some NGOs, and they also get sexual exploitation. So, the Sudan Volunteer Organization is aiming to organize an awareness day in the camp of Farchana as a beginning activity for a campaign that will target all the Sudanese refugee camps in Eastern Chad this year.

The objectives of the Awareness Day of PSEA in Farchana are:

. - Raise their awareness about What is PSEA and it's the difference with GBV

- Raise their awareness about all the humanitarian aid is free.

- Raise their awareness about reporting mechanisms and the importance of reporting any EAS case.

- hanging the concept of firewood collection is only for women by integrating men in the wood collection process to mitigate the risks of sexual violence.

- Raise their awareness about the different assistance.

Activities:

1- Organising a huge event inside the camp of Farchana for the awareness day.

2- Using a well-known Sudanese Comedian Group and singer to send PSEA messages through Comedy and art.

3- Mobilising around 3000 refugees from Farchana camp to attend the event, particularly women.

4- Invite different organizations, camp leaders, and government authorities for the event.

5- Install banderoles in public places around the camp.

6- Prepare all Visibility tools.
