On the 05 August 2023, we had an Organization GAM meeting. The 13th of August was constituted board meeting. On the 03thDec, we had a board meeting.
On the 27th of February 2023, we had our organization developer Abdelrahim Moussa Hassan traveled to Sudan to help the team in Sudan to activate the SVO: s work in Sudan. With Abdelrahim's attendance in Sudan we could reactivate our organization, we launched our project (the National Food Security Plan Project), a project of the Tea Ladies Forum in Al-Alfashir to empower women of small businesses but also under vulnerability.
On the 21th of Mars, we accomplished a workshop to address the cause and prepare the project steps. 51 persons from this business branch cooperated in the workshop and joined as beneficiaries of the project. We also prepared a meeting with local authorities in Al-fashir state to prepare a bigger plan to protect, support, and develop the target group of tea ladies and their businesses.
On the 21th of Mars, we had a meeting with Mini Minawy the head of the Darfur government in the Darfur region. We came to an agreement that the Darfur region authorities and SVO develop the corridors to human rights and minimize violence and harmful activities to human rights in Darfur.
Also, we started a project to protect children in neglected situations in many of Sudan’s biggest states. The project was launched in Nyala and Khartoum before the ongoing war was carried out on the 15th of April. 05th May SVO joined the campaign Save The Sudan with 17 other associations and organizations to help healthcare under war in Sudan.
On the 22-28th We sent Al Eid aladha aid to the refugee camps of Kounoungou, Mile, Touloum, and Iridimi in eastern Tchad. With this aid, we could be able to feed over 53,000 people in refugee camps and 12,000 from hosted communities. We collected 38 donated sheep and other food. And that we’ve fed more than 65,000 people with financial vulnerability in refugee camps during the past 6 years.
On the 26th of August, we sent our proposal to the Peaceful Heart Network, to extend our partnership and sponsorship of the TTT project in eastern Tchad for one more year. The trauma tapping technique is one of our very important projects in Tchad for healing people from trauma and other mental and psychological illnesses. With our project TTT we reach over 16 0000 people.
Between 4th June and 29th September 2023, our volunteering medics in Chad, gave medical attention to more than 1000 people a day, using our donated medical equipment-, medication- and electricity supplies.
4th Sep we sent a medical aid eye convoy to the Adré zone in eastern Tchad. With. Initiative of Sudanese Doctors in Chad to provide medical aid to people displaced from Al-Ginena state in western Darfur. This quick aid has shown effects on 90,000 people who have different kinds of medical aid needs. We have started leading the team to develop access to healthcare in eastern Tchad, focusing on increasing accessibility and organizing the resources as effectively as possible. Our goal is to continue supporting healthcare in refugee camps as long as it’s needed.
We want you to know that we have started the very first school for children with disabilities in Chad, it’s located in Kouloungou refugee camp, where 263 students attend our daily activities.
We also started a special team to identify a lack of mental illness knowledge and support in eastern Tchad and Sudan, the team has provided comprehensive rapport about the issue and how our organization will protect individuals with mental illness in refugee camps but also put plan about what kinds of reforms needed and facilities work professions and community support.
ON 08TH Of sent a mission to Tchad to visit refugee camps in eastern Tchad and renew our agreement with the Republic of Tchad. We renewed the protocol of agreement with the Republic of Tchad and we had meetings with authorities such as the minister of the development plan, the minister of finance, and the minister of agriculture of the republic for dialogue about our long-term projects in Tchad and refugee situation in eastern and shared our view about peace opportunities for minimize violence in Darfur.

We launched new projects: Rapid Response Support, Protecting Reserved Zones in Sudan: Reserved Zone of Jabel Marra area, Development of Desert Oasis of Wadi-Hawar, and Development of Dindir Reserved Zoo zone. The SVO Plan List is a national campaign for sets a benchmark for successful nature conservation to develop and protect these zones. The project focuses on and uses sustainable standards to protect and develop these areas.
By: bonding to this standard, areas could increase their effectiveness in conserving biodiversity, improving livelihoods, and promoting equitable governance.
The SVO.s plan List ensures that the areas will emphasize fair governance, effective management, and respect for native peoples and local communities’ rights.
